Happy Veteran's Day!

On Thursday Robbinsville High School and Middle School honored our Veterans with a special program. Veterans were remembered and the chorus and band shared special music, each branch of the military was introduced. Middle School students did interviews and displayed poster board projects of their special veterans and the Robbinsville High School Foods Class and Robbinsville Middle School Careers Class prepared special treats.

Each year it saddens me as we seem to honor fewer veterans. Our heritage is slowly dying out. We mus keep their memories and their honor alive! Pictured above is my Great Uncle Arvil Webster reading a poem. He has been such an inspiration not only to our family, but to our county and our country. He served his country proudly to this day!
